Honeymoon in Lakshadweep Islands (Coral Wonders) - One of the leading destinations for eco-tourists, Lakshadweep is built on ancient volcanic formations enclosing 12 atolls, three reefs and some submerged coasts off the coast of Kerala in the Arabian Sea.

While in Lakshadweep, steal a few days at a hut on Kadmat's sun-kissed and moon-lit beaches enclosed within coconut groves which part to offer enticing views of the sea. Stay at one of the beach huts amidst the swaying of the palms and the rush of the waves all day without getting disturbed. Kavaratti is the administrative capital and the placid waters of the lagoon enable swimming and other water sports. Kayaks and sailing yachts can be taken on hire for a cruise around the island. Kalpeni has three satellite islands of Tilakkam, Pitti and Cheriyam and offers similar facilities at its beach resort. Andrott is the largest of the Lakshadweep islands and here is where you can observe the lifestyle of the local seamen living in clusters called 'athiris'.

Lakshadweep can be visited all round the year, but if you wish to take a cruise around the islands, plan your trip between October and May to escape the turbulent sea during the south-west monsoon.
